Job Overview:
The main objective is to undertake and manage the scoping, installation and commissioning of semi-integrated stand-alone chemical handling and food process cleaning systems.
Main Responsibilities:



  • In consultation with sales management, customers and ANZ Engineering, undertake the scoping, installation and commissioning of semi-integrated equipment and engineering solutions for Ecolab’s Food & Beverage customers.



  • With the assistance of ANZ Engineering resources prepare equipment supply quotations for field sales team and customers, ensuring these meet established profit and ROI criteria.



  • Engage ANZ Engineering resources to provide construction drawings, P&ID’s and functional specifications for equipment installations, ensuring all components meet recognized engineering standards for chemical compatibility and safety.



  • Using local contractors where required supervise equipment installation, and onsite systems integration, ensuring all work is completed on time, within scope and on budget.



  • As and when required undertake on site equipment installation.



  • Manage local contractors to undertake onsite equipment repairs and maintenance.



  • With the assistance of ANZ Engineering resources prepare trouble-shooting and end user documentation, ensuring necessary personnel are properly trained in effective equipment use and maintenance.



  • Ensure all documentation, authorisations, drawings and IP are recorded and stored according to best practice.



  • Prospect equipment sales opportunities within new or existing Food & Beverage customers.



  • Foster effective working relationships with contractors and aligned engineering companies and suppliers.



  • Submit regular activities and progress reports, ensuring effective feedback and communication with Engineering management and Sales team is maintained.



  • Ensure full compliance with the stated policies and procedures of Ecolab.



  • Adhere to company and customer OHS policies, procedures and rules, and follow safe work practices.


Key Skills/Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food manufacturing or food process engineering industry.



  • Appropriate (mechanical or electrical) trade or degree qualifications and industry recognized registrations.



  • Experience with fluids transfer and pumping systems



  • Knowledge of chemical materials compatibilities or DG compliance



  • Ability to work unsupervised.



  • Business tools literate, CAD, MS Office or Project



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



  • Creative problem solving skills.



  • Effective time management and organizational skills.



  • Flexible, and results driven personality



  • Customer-focused attitude.



  • Physically fit.



  • Current and valid driver’s license.
